FPCONFIG.EXE:
=============
This program will create the configuration file (FPOINTS.CFG) required by
FPOINTS.EXE. Please see below for a detailed description of it's usage:
"GLOBAL" FILE POINT ASSIGNMENT:
===============================
Editing of Input Fields is allowed.
Step 1 - Execute "FPCONFIG".
Step 2 - Enter your "Main Data File Path" as listed in the System
Configuration Editor or press <Enter> to except the default.
Step 3 - Enter your "Multi-user Data File Path" as listed in the System
Configuration Editor or press <Enter> to except the default. If
you are not running a "Multi-node BBS", then enter the "Main Data
File Path" used in Step 2.
Note: The above paths are searched to locate your USER.LST file.
These paths are also used to locate *.DIR files should be
using the "@" or "`" in front of the file name in the
FBOARDS.DAT file.
Step 4 - Enter the Path and File Name to the FPOINTS Log or press <Enter>
to except the default.
Step 5 - Enter the File Points to assign to "ALL" files uploaded (0-255) or
press <Enter> to except the default.
Enter the File Points to assign to Users for files uploaded (0-65535)
or press <Enter> to except the default.
Step 6 - Select Option 3 from the "Which method to use when assigning file
points?" question.
"PATH" FILE POINT ASSIGNMENT:

PATH" FILE POINT ASSIGNMENT (CONTINUED):
========================================
Step 3 - Enter your "Multi-user Data File Path" as listed in the System
Configuration Editor or press <Enter> to except the default. If
you are not running a "Multi-node BBS", then enter the "Main Data
File Path" used in Step 2.
Note: The above paths are searched to locate your USER.LST and it's
assumed that your FBOARDS.DAT resides in the same directory as
your USER.LST. If for some reason it's not in the same
directory, copy your FBOARDS.DAT to the USER.LST directory and
proceed with this program, then delete the FBOARDS.DAT from
the USER.LST directory. These paths are also used to locate
*.DIR files should be using the "@" or "`" in front of the file
name in the FBOARDS.DAT file.
Step 4 - Enter the Path and File Name to the FPOINTS Log or press <Enter> to
except the default.
Step 5 - Enter the File Points to assign to files uploaded to directories
not listed in FPOINTS.CFG (0-255) or press <Enter> to except the
default.
Enter the File Points to assign to Users for files uploaded to
directories not listed in FPOINTS.CFG (0-65535) or press <Enter>
to except the default.
Step 6 - Select Option 1 from the "Which method to use when assigning file
points?" question. FPCONFIG will then access your FBOARDS.DAT file
and present you with each upload directory (without duplicates).
Step 7 - Enter the File Points to assign to files uploaded to this directory
(0-255).
Enter the File Points to assign to Users for files uploaded to this
directory (0-65535).
Step 8 - Repeat "Step 7" for all directories presented to you. You may hit
<Escape> at any time with everything up to the last entry being
saved.

Step 4 - Enter the Path and File Name to the FPOINTS Log or press <Enter> to
except the default.
Step 5 - Enter the File Points to assign to files uploaded with their size
(kbytes) not listed in FPOINTS.CFG (0-255) or press <Enter> to
except the default.
Enter the File Points to assign to Users for files uploaded with
their size (kbytes) not listed in FPOINTS.CFG (0-65535) or press
<Enter> to except the default.
Step 6 - Select Option 2 from the "Which method to use when assigning file
points?" question.
Step 7 - Enter a value to automatically increment file sizes (kbytes) by
(0-5000K) or press <Enter> to except the default. For example:
5 = 1-5K, 6-10K, 11-15K, 16-20K ... up to 4996-5000K
10 = 1-10K, 11-20K, 21-30K, 31-40K ... up to 4991-5000K
Step 8 - Enter the File Points to assign to files uploaded that fall within
this kbyte range (0-255) or press <Enter> to except the default.
Enter the File Points to assign to Users for files uploaded that fall
within this kbyte range (0-65535) or press <Enter> to except the
default.
Step 9 - Repeat "Step 8" for all kbyte ranges presented to you. You may hit
<Escape> at any time with everything up to the last entry being
saved.
MISCELANEOUS INFORMATION:
=========================
FPCONFIG will ask the user if a back-up copy of FPOINTS.CFG should be made
when it discovers a previous copy of FPOINTS.CFG before re-writting it.

- Added a question to ask for the LOG Path and File Name.
- Removed the "Q=Quit" option from the "Which method to use when assigning

- Removed the question that asked for the path to your FBOARDS.DAT file and
replaced it with one that asks for your "Main Data File Path" and another
that asks for your "Multi-user Data File Path".
